Bend Birth Center is a licensed free-standing birth center serving all of Central Oregon. Through our comprehensive maternity services, including prenatal, birth, postpartum and well-newborn care, we are committed to providing you with a loving and respectful environment to journey through pregnancy and birth.  

Midwifery care at Bend Birth Center is provided by Janette Gyesky, Licensed and Certified Professional Midwife, of Deschutes Midwifery. We opened Bend Birth Center because we firmly believe in choices for childbearing women and their families and see birth center care as a safe, cost-effective and family-centered option that all women should have available to them.

Decorated with warm soft colors and inviting décor, Bend Birth Center houses a beautiful birth suite complete with a labor tub, separate bathroom, and cozy bed. There is a family room for any friends and family members you've invited to share in your birth experience.

We also want the birth center to be a gathering place and understand that new families can benefit from additional support during the childbearing year, so we offer childbirth classes, parenting groups and ongoing community and informational events.
